Welcome to the 2010 Chipping Norton Town Festival.

The aim of the festival is to showcase everything Chipping Norton has to offer the community in terms of the arts, hospitality, sport and leisure as well as local trades & organisation. It is an opportunity for the whole town to celebrate the amazing community that is Chipping Norton and wake us all up to sharing our talents and interests. Basically, it's a chance for the town to show off !

This year's event is supporting the FROTH (Friends of the Town Hall) who are fighting to preserve the town's iconic centre piece.

The stage is up....

...the sun is out.  Let's pray it's still shining tomorrow.  It's going to be a great day and the start of something big.  Many thanks goes Chancellor Estate Agents Travis Perkins for their support of the festival.

Simon Nicol & Dave Swarbrick

Followers of local folk rockers, Fairport Convention, will be delighted to hear Simon and Swarbs lending their support to the festival

Fabulous Food

Local butcher J R Kench will be supplying his own bangers and burgers while Tim Busby provides the hog roast.  We can't wait to see what suprises are in store from The Greedy Goose pub and restaurant.

The Retros

This band has a lot of experience in getting large crowds going and there is no feeling like a few thousand people singing along with some of the all time greats!  Click here to discover more.

The Chipping Norton School Allstars

Formed in 2007, the CNS Allstars are musicians from Chipping Norton School, near Oxford, UK. They play Jazz/Swing/Big Band Music. In addition to performing at major jazz festivals in Cheltenham (2009) and Upton (2009 & 2010), we have played over 100 gigs ranging from corporate functions, weddings and private parties to public charity events all around the county.
